A SHE SHE AUTUMN RETREAT
SALTUS, SOUTH TYROL, ITALY
A retreat balancing self-preservation and aliveness, in closeness to the forest and mountains, as the harvest season gives way to winter.
THURSDAY 5 - MONDAY 9
NOVEMBER 2026
Check in from 15 hrs onwards, welcome circle at 17:30 hrs.
Check out 11 hrs from rooms, 15 hrs from hotel.

Our first two retreats here, in winter and spring, were everything we had hoped for, and more. A space for true self-care, with the forest spa at its heart, elevated by our she she signature practices, guided nature walks, and the joyful yet restorative rhythm we create together. Surrounded by mountains and trees, and held within a circle of like-minded women, we found ways to recalibrate, restore, and set the mental load down for a while.
We’ve come to understand what our friend Julia told us when she moved here last winter, that South Tyrol has a way of being beautiful all year round, no matter the season. And so again this autumn, we return with a retreat guided by the rhythm of the harvest season. A natural turning point in the year: a time to feel grateful for what summer brought, to preserve that sense of aliveness, while also slowly creating space for rest and inner calm as winter approaches.
Taking place over the first weekend of November, the days will include pilates, intuitive movement, breathwork, restorative practices, meditation, and generous downtime. Balanced with time outdoors, as the landscape has transitioned from vibrant green to warm, golden tones.

We return to the beautiful, female-run eco design hotel Saltus. Staying here feels a little like a modern treehouse, and at the same time like a warm, luxurious nest, with all the comfort our adult selves crave. It has been a long time since we felt our nervous system settle so quickly. The rooms we’ve reserved overlook the forest, as does our dedicated practice space, reserved just for us, where we move, meditate, and breathe together.
Our days begin at 9hrs, when we meet for a dynamic movement class. Before that, the morning is yours: a coffee or tea, something small to eat, a little extra sleep, lingering on your balcony, listening to birdsong, or perhaps a sunrise swim in the heated rooftop pool overlooking the Dolomites. Or a bit of everything.
Afterwards, we head straight to the restaurant for a generous breakfast. The days continue with guided nature walks, one shorter, one a little longer, easing into slow afternoons. Time in the spa, moving between the Turkish steam bath, hay sauna (that scent, my goodness), and Finnish sauna with aufguss rituals using local essential oils. Perhaps you feel like booking a facial, a massage, a herbal stamp treatment, lymphatic drainage, whatever calls. Later, we gather again for a second, more restorative, regulating practice.
In the evening, we enjoy a full restaurant experience, with a four-course dinner of Tyrolean dishes and Italian classics to choose from.
There are many things that make this place special. Its aesthetic, its connection to nature, and its commitment to sustainable values. The forest spa, sky pool, and practice space are remarkable, not least for their views. What we admire most is that the hotel has been run by women for three generations. That calm, assured presence, with attention to detail, is felt throughout and resonates with everything we stand for at she she.
We look forward to holding the space for it all this autumn – and if you feel called to join, we would love to welcome you.
