she she retreats are intimate, contemporary gatherings for women seeking both inner stillness and outer inspiration.
Founded by Albertine van Iterson, who after graduating in art and design in the Netherlands moved to Berlin, which became her base during years of travelling across Europe. After working in hospitality, retail and later marketing at Nike Women, where she found herself misaligned with the corporate environment and its commercial focus, but inspired by the power of bringing women together through movement. Rather than telling women to buy sports bras or the latest yoga tights, she began creating meaningful wellbeing experiences in inspiring places, coming full circle with her background in design.
Along the way, Albertine also became a certified mindfulness and breathwork teacher. Still, each retreat is designed from the perspective of a guest rather than a teacher, which is what gives she she its warm, welcoming atmosphere.
A space that feels open, non-judgemental, and easy to arrive in, where all women are invited to be part of it.
Now, a decade and over 50 retreats later, its original intention — to host with care — continues to inspire and shape every detail.
Believing in the power of vulnerability and collective joy, she she retreats serve as a gentle catalyst for personal transformation. Without promising dramatic life changes, they have touched many women’s lives, helping them reconnect with parts of themselves that had long been lost or suppressed.
Each retreat weaves together formal and informal mindfulness practices, somatic practices inspired by yoga, pilates, intuitive movement, and breathwork, along with hands-on creativity and above all, a like-minded female community.

Every retreat takes place in a thoughtfully chosen setting that offers quiet, beauty, and a sense of spaciousness. The atmosphere is intentionally warm and personal, with small groups, nourishing food, and a collective of kind, state-of-the-art teachers, facilitators, chefs, and artists.
she she was born from a deep understanding of the daily pressures many women carry—in their careers, in motherhood (or both!), often navigating multiple roles at once. We believe wellbeing isn’t one-size-fits-all. What works for one woman may not work for another. Over the past 10 years, we’ve learned how to craft a program that meets you where you are—allowing some to slow down, and others to explore or expand.
she she is a space for those who may not always feel at home in the current “wellness world,” which can sometimes feel polished to the point of performance. Instead, this is a place for real connection, depth, and rest.
Our aim is to create space to slow down, rebuild resilience, and explore joy and self-compassion. Practices are offered with care and flexibility, inviting each woman to engage in a way that feels natural and supportive. Want to sleep in? Please do. We understand some bodies need, and deserve, nothing but rest.
A retreat is not a quick fix, and sustainable personal growth requires ongoing commitment to your well-being. However, we are so happy that many of our previous guests—and those who return each year—find a transformative journey in just 4-5 days. Recognizing that a retreat is not an instant route to happiness, our retreats may offer a beautiful first step on this journey or a much-needed space to reconnect with your path.

''When she started letting go, her vision became clearer. The present felt more manageable and the future began to look open and full of bright possibilities. As she shed the tense energy of the past, her power and creativity returned to her. With a revitalised excitement, she focused on building a new life where joy and freedom were abundant.''
