she she retreats are intimate, contemporary gatherings for women seeking both inner stillness and outer inspiration. Founded by Albertine van Iterson—whose journey began with graduating from an art and design academy in the Netherlands and later expanded to include mindfulness, hospitality, movement, and a love for slow travel—each retreat is designed from the perspective of a guest, not a teacher. This is why she she is such a warm and welcoming space for women.
Instead of a traditional teacher-student setup, Albertine and the team she curates for each retreat foster a peer-based, equal dynamic—warm, respectful, and rooted in shared experience. It was created as the kind of space Albertine herself wished had existed back in 2015.
Now, a decade and over 50 retreats later, she she is regarded as a pioneer in the wellbeing retreat space—its original intention to host with care continues to inspire and shape every detail. Many others have drawn inspiration from she she’s approach, though few capture the same warmth, experience and authenticity.
With a belief in the power of vulnerability and collective joy, she she retreats offer a gentle catalyst for personal transformation. Practices combine mindfulness, somatic tools like movement and breath-work, creativity, and community.
Every retreat takes place in a thoughtfully chosen setting that offers quiet, beauty, and a sense of spaciousness. The atmosphere is intentionally warm and personal, with small groups, nourishing food, and a collective of kind, state-of-the-art teachers, facilitators, chefs, and artists.
she she was born from a deep understanding of the daily pressures many women carry—in their careers, in motherhood (or both!), often navigating multiple roles at once. We believe wellbeing isn’t one-size-fits-all. What works for one woman may not work for another. Over the past 10 years, we’ve learned how to craft a program that meets you where you are—allowing some to slow down even more, and others to explore or expand.
she she is a space for those who may not always feel at home in the current “wellness world,” which can sometimes feel polished to the point of performance. Instead, this is a place for real connection, depth, and rest.
Our aim is to create space to slow down, rebuild resilience, and explore joy and self-compassion. Practices are offered with care and flexibility, inviting each woman to engage in a way that feels natural and supportive. Want to sleep in? Please do. We understand—some bodies need (and deserve!) nothing but rest.
A retreat is not a quick fix, and sustainable personal growth requires ongoing commitment to your well-being. However, we are so happy that many of our previous guests—and those who return each year—find a transformative journey in just 4-5 days. Recognizing that a retreat is not an instant route to happiness, our retreats may offer a beautiful first step on this journey or a much-needed space to reconnect with your path.
''When she started letting go, her vision became clearer. The present felt more manageable and the future began to look open and full of bright possibilities. As she shed the tense energy of the past, her power and creativity returned to her. With a revitalised excitement, she focused on building a new life where joy and freedom were abundant.''
