Winter's Healing
A she she NEW YEAR'S RETREAT
at Hotel SALTUS, South Tyrol, Italy
WEDNESDAY 7 – SUNDAY 11 JANUARY 2026
Embrace 2026 with ease, self-preservation, and vibrant aliveness, in harmony with nature at 1100 meters above the sea.
Check in from 15 hrs onwards, welcome circle at 18 hrs. Check out 10:30 from rooms, 11 hrs shuttles depart.

As promised, our first mountain retreat is nearing. And while we usually plan far ahead, this one is soonish, for a good reason.
You know how the end-of-year “holidays” are meant to be relaxing? Yet for many of us, they are anything but. It’s the stress of wrapping up things at work, social obligations, (in)tense family dynamics, buying presents, hosting dinners. As beautiful as it is to see the people we love, it can also feel rather draining. Then the new year’s arrives, and somehow we’re expected to begin again with fresh motivation and a lot of good resolutions (that often feel so forced!). “New year, new me”? Nah. In truth, this is a moment when we need extra (true) self-care, slowness, and time. A place to be held ourselves.
Nature knows this. January isn’t a time of blooming but of going (or rather staying) inward. The days are still short and the bears are still sleeping. Swallows haven’t returned from their migration. Trees are still tending to their roots, not their blooms. Seeds still underground, gathering strength, with no plans to emerge sooner than necessary.
So we invite you to do the same.

Feel invited to our very first hotel collaboration with eco Hotel Saltus in South Tyrol, northern Italy—known as “The Green Riviera of the Alps,” located between the Dolomites, the Salten Meadow, and just a short distance from Bolzano/Bozen. Join us from Wednesday, 7 to Sunday, 11 January, to begin the new year by re-centering yourself. We’ll set the tone a little later than everyone else, giving you space to ease into 2026.
Co-hosted by Albertine an Jo, you may expect morning dynamic Pilates and intuitive movement, afternoon restorative and mindfulness practices, long hours in the forest spa (with a steam bath, a hay and Finnish sauna), Italian food, good talks in even better company, walks under the big pine trees, and that crisp mountain air that naturally makes you inhale deeper. Float in the outdoor heated (!) pool overlooking the Dolomites. And of course, you may expect some she she off-the-mat, outdoorsy fun too.
The perfect blend of slowness and aliveness to welcome the new year in line with nature’s rhythm.
I stayed at Hotel Saltus last week, and it felt like being in a big treehouse; my inner child loved that. Yet perhaps a better description would be a warm, luxurious nest, with all the modern comfort my adult self savored and craved, especially the hay sauna and the deep sleep in a big bed just for me. My friend who joined me said, “Sure, the beach is nice, but there is still constant noise; it is the mountains where it is really quiet.” And when I went for a walk in the forest by myself the next early morning, hearing only my own breath and the snow softly crackle beneath my steps, I understood – and felt – exactly what she meant. That outer stillness, my inner responding with calm. It had been a while since I felt my nervous system settle so quickly. I knew we had to do a retreat here.
And what would be a better start of the year than a place, where the world feels so freeing and spacious, yet still grounds you?
There are many special things about this hotel: the way its aesthetics fit us perfectly, its blending with nature and sustainable values, the incredible spa, sky pool, and practice space (I mean, those views...!), but what I admire and love most of all is that it has been run by women for four generations. That feminine touch is felt everywhere, calm and yet confident, which of course aligns beautifully with everything we stand for at she she.
